In rural Pennsylvania, Keller Dover (Hugh Jackman) his significant other Grace, their adolescent child Ralph and youthful little girl Anna go to a Thanksgiving supper at the home of their companions, Franklin Birch (Terrence Howard) and his better half Nancy (Viola Davis) their high school girl Eliza and youthful little girl Joy.
